Might be of interest . If you want to de -bur the internal of holes of all shapes without faffing about with a file and you haven't found this tool ..I highly recommend one. Works on S Steel ..tube..sheet metal.. bar stock ......... also you can go in from the outside of a closed muffler to do the back of a hole. The blade rotates in the holder as you trace the hole shape.

What do u use to get the can apart besides a BFH
I have used weldnuts on stuff but those threaded rivets are cool, now i need to buy a new tool!!!

What gauge screen are u using?

I heat the crimp and pry it open.

And i always thought those rivot nut things were for putting door mirrors on pickup trucks ,nice work sir .

If you do not want to shell out the coin for the installer tool that looks like a rivot gun ,i have some fastners at home you tighten with a bolt that squashes them also ,i will see if can find some samples for an image later .

I dont post on here often i thought id show what i did to my 440 muffler cover with 1/4" ball end mill. I know what your thinking
" itll burn the wood" i thought of that too, after the fact Lol, but actully ive run it quite a bit and havent had any thermal events yet. I may try and put a hood on it sometime.....or not.

Usually the conventional wisdom is to not port out the front, as some degree of back pressure is a good thing. However, your ports are not in line with exhaust port, so I think it looks real cool, and should work well.

How does it run?

Straight out the front, in line with the ex port will make the most power mike.
