I was thinking the same thing. It will be a little more than the other kits.

also the pricing willl be like the rest of the site, alway on sale, etc.

I hadn't checked their prices in a while, but before farmertec I remember the best price i could find on a complete assembled 660 was $450 shipped. With material costs going up, and assuming the expenses they had in getting it right, I figured the 880 might be over $500.

What kind of discounts do they run? I often see the usual "30% off" or whatever it is, but that's their standard price.

I wish someone in the US would make kits not based on any specific model, but including the more complicated parts and instructions for finishing it, with some parts compatibility with existing models. If gas powered RC models don't have emissions regulations, why not a kit built hobby chainsaw?

I"ll ad my thoughts,

the price difference between the assembled saw and the parts saw is very little. £9/£10

add the shipping to the uk, the calculation is £100.75. Edit for 15kg (1 saw)

it works out just under £500, then I could get hit with import tax/vat to what ever they think it’s worth @20%
I'll add my shopping cart pic for reference of costs later

I’m not sure what to do atm, but my head says skip right past this. And wait abit longer.

Has anyone built the 880 kit yet? If so what do they think of it.

I'm somewhat interested in beating one up on a mill but not for $530, and then to still swap out the case & pin bearings, and the clutch assembly off the get go. I'll wait for an OEM builder or a fairly priced used saw before that.
