The biggest downside is the price of this new 462

The R clutch cover fits on the 462, but the chain brake spring cover does not. On the clutch side the 462 is more compact than the 362, which is why the plastic doesn’t fit.

The 462 has a new style for the handle attachment spring. Instead of being parallel with the bottom of the handle tied into the case, the spring on the 462 is vertical. So they’ve made some design changes to accommodate that. I thought the 362 was a bit soft for AV, this 462 is quite stiff.

2016 562. I believe it has all the mechanical updates as the current 562. 13lbs 3.0oz the tanks are bone dry.

It will still be lighter than a 462. Holds less fuel and oil. I don’t cut with empty saws. Just more fuel to add to the fire.... lol just being realistic.

I cut wood with paper specs . Cookies precisely. Only on the weekend too. I broke my arm just picking up a 572... that extra lb was just too much.

You should have put a 362c on handle on it, they are plastic, and lighter!!
