Haha, yep! There used to be a great jonsered dealer around here. He sold only pro saws and if you wanted a new one he asked how much wood do you cut? And took it from there. He was also a fan of the lesser models 2152, 2159, 2165 ect.
Your saying the 462 might be 1100$. A 661 is 1230$ (depending on the dealer).
Some people probably don’t want the mtronic (why they bought the 461 over a 661). I just wish they priced it closer to a 7910.Yes, that is what I said. Your logic would also apply to the MS461 wouldn't? is it's list not just over $1100 as well? Why would so many people here have bought those as the 661 is only $100 more.
I am saying guys are looking at the prices in Europe and Australia and freaking out about price based on a currancy conversion. If you look at the full line up the full line is more in those area. I feel this new saw will land in the price range exactly where we are used to buying 461's the saw it is primarily replacing.
Alot don't want it.
When I cut firewood if it takes more than a 60cc saw I couldn't be bothered..people on the internet are in fukkin' la-la land.
I cut close to 400 cord over the last couple winters using 6100's 562's and 670's.When I cut firewood if it takes more than a 60cc saw I couldn't be bothered..people on the internet are in fukkin' la-la land.
I hope so! Im no fan of auto tuneMaybe US will be like Russia and get a non M-tron version.
Depends for me... if its waist height I'm blocking with el freako... if its on the ground I'm gonna stick to 362/440.When I cut firewood if it takes more than a 60cc saw I couldn't be bothered..people on the internet are in fukkin' la-la land.
Was fortunate to survive the seventies and eighty's with no internet to guide us and only a 54cc McCulloch between us and freezing to death.
Glad you survived, and made it to the internet, so now you can read important threads on, whether to stack your wood, bark up, or bark down, if it's better to stack in, east to west rows, or north to south. Etc, etc,,,,
RR ties stack the best.........
850$ would be a lot more realistic for them to price it at. Might as well spend the extra 100$ and get a 661.
