Sadly......this import deal fell apart. Not the fault of the feller that was willing to ship it. Just governmental bullsh!t. He couldn't take PayPal in his country, and I wouldn't pay any other way. Looks like we'll be waiting till they are released in the US.

I am trying to track one down at the moment here in Greece. They are in our 2018 catalog, but haven't found a dealer that has ordered one in-country yet. I ship to the US unabated and take PayPal, so if anyone is interested when I find them (or any other saw we have here), I'll ship the saw to you. Usually costs under a $100 to get it from Greece to the US, depending on where you are. I shipped a 9010 PHO to Michigan for $90-95.

They cost a mint though (462's), list price in the catalog starts at 1165 Euros ($1363) with an 18" bar.

I' seeing the same on eBay.de https://www.ebay.de/itm/Motorsage-S...471597?hash=item285da0326d:g:spoAAOSwRk9an~Ah

Disclaimer:
I am not saying that I can get one of these units, so this is just information being passed on!

From Stihl's 2018 Mini Catalog, local to me currency is Croatian Kuna aka HRK (use Google's currency converter to get an idea how much it'd be in Your currency):
DSC08042.JPG

As much as a MS661CM , comes with 18" B&C according to the catalog.
Non CM version listed as available too.

I have no idea whether it is actually available though, I was at the Stihl dealer twice this year and I haven't seen one of these units on their sales floor.

FYI, I had good experience with fund transfers from the US to Croatia (Eastern Europe) through Western Union.
Once a certain fund amount is exceeded it isn't even more expensive fee wise than PayPal - so I've been told.
Of course, a certain degree of trust and honesty of parties involved is required to go this route!

FYI number two, I am not able to withdraw funds off my PP account.
I was at my bank twice to resolve the issue and they claim it should work, but it doesn't - PP say's my card isn't set up for withdrawals by my bank.
After the second bank visit and numerous failed attempts to register my card for fund withdrawals on PP I just gave up on the idea altogether.
Sometimes something that should be straight forward and simple isn't as simple as one hoped it to be!
