I'll post a video of a 462 with a 25" in some beech to show some of the skeptics what the saw is capable of, even with a 20" on it I can lean as hard as I want and it won't kill or bog it in any way. It's truly a kickass saw

Quite frankly, if I got a 462, but needed a 32" bar I would just go to a bigger saw. Plain and simple. But this 462 sure looks good with 20, 24 and 28" bars. [emoji106]

I would like to give a stock 462 a rip in hardwood with a LW 28” bar and full comp stihl rs chain. If it can handle and oil that... then it’s a success in my eyes.

IMHO, am 8-pin rim doesn't belong on a 70cc class work saw? That's why he bogged it so many times in the face cut. Not the saws fault.

7 pin seems to keep saw in powerband much better. Especially for working it!
8 pin for cutting cants and GTGs. Lol
