I have s real itch to build a 600 horse Poncho in a 1970 1/2 Formula like I had back in the day. But I'd need a bigger shop and s bigger wallet lol.

Vern Moats (RIP) longest running top alcohol funny car drag racer out of Des Moine, Iowa, built a 448 c.i. Ram Air IV alcohol fed engine for my 1970 Formula 400 back in the early 1970's.
Oh the thrill ....but a YZ bike saw does the job too. So does laying down 100 foot spruce between buildings

I had a M22 rock crusher 4 speed in my firebird with a Hurst verticle gate shifter ( I don't think you can even buy them anymore. ) I was told over and over again a B&M turbo hydromatic 400 would get faster ET's. But when your a 17 year old logger with quick reflexes it doesn't matter hahaha.

I got an 85 k10 project thats been on hold and I've kicked the idea around of Tremic with a divorced 205 tcase just so I can bang gears. Cause a sm465 is more like rowing a barge around lol.

Doing some searching online and came is with this brochure. Most surprising to me is a listing for a non M-tronic version.
