No the spikes from a 044/066 don't line up correct on a 460 or 461

That was kinda a pain in the azz. Spikes from a 261/362/660 would be swappable but the 460 or 440 wouldn't marry up. Its those little things like being able to use a b/c from a 261 on a 661 that make Stihl a good investment. These 462 saws look so damn good.

660, 661 Spikes work just fine on a 044/440, just not on a 046/460/461.
