MS460 jug,may need another.

Getting close to having all the parts I need for the 460/046 I'm working on. Decided to clean the jug,knew it needed what I thought was transfer cleaned.Pic makes it show up real good. More like a pit. Junk? and yes,after sanding wasn't working a q-tip with a dab of acid.

Unfortunatly acid was a bad move on that spot. I cant tell you if it will last as i dont know how damaged the bond to the plating in that area is now that acid was on it. Good luck

The acid didn't eat through the plating. The chip was already there. Sand any rough edges around it and run it. The rings don't go down that far
