I used a 034 super cylinder on Cgraham1's early no decomp 036 and had to trim under the cover to make it fit.

I redone the exhaust port and raised it a little but I still don't like it.
Feels like it needs more carb and I didn't raise the exhaust as much as I needed to
I was going to 103.5 but chickened out at 105. Chain is for a big saw

I am confused - video says 034 souper, your thread started out ms362. Did you switch saws because old school is cool?

Saw sounds nice. My neighbor has an 034. He bought a new 362 bit kept the 034 as a spare. He prefers the 034.

Did you run it without a filter to see how much it gained?

Never tried it without the filter

I just did one for @cgraham1 and I think it ran great but this one feels like it's out of carb.

It needs something cause the zama ain't cutting it.

Jason, something I found when I was doing my carb testing on my 036 is that the Zama C3A carbs seem to preform different between the 034 and the 036. I'm not sure which carb you have on this saw but maybe you could try a different carb that you know for sure came off a 036

I just bought a Tillotson... I think it is an HK43A. Those are the ones that came on the 034, correct?

I'm sure it's the original 034 super carb.
It's a zama is all I know.
I'm almost 3 turns out on the low

Tilly is the bad boy of the bunch... makes a noticeable difference

I've owned a couple 036's and just rebuilt the carb on one for my uncle. I'm not sure what carb is on the one Jason built, but the other two were definitely Zamas.
