Is it just me, or do the L and H screws on the 361 HD carbs feel kinda sloppy and prone to going out of adjustment from vibration when the limiters are removed? No springs on em to create any tension otherwise.
Are new limiter caps automatically required on these or do I just have an oddball on the bench?

And how about running just one ring on one of the Tecomec 361 top ends. No porting consideration here. Just broke one of the rings and didn't have the patience to wait for another set. Has good compression and runs well as it is, but...

TIA for any input/opinions.

I hear of people trimming the tabs off limit cap and reinstalling to keep the screws tight. And Run a top ring it'll make it faster!

Thanks for the responses.

I've trimmed and re-used caps many times. They were already gone from this particular saw, tho.

Good to hear about the top ring cuz I broke the bottom one. LOL
Heard of guys only running the top ring to keep from hanging the bottom one with aggressive porting when the exhaust ceiling is significantly raised or flattened. Just wondered how much of a hit there may be on a stock 361 firewood saw with a single ring..., if any.
