MS311 MS391 question

Can I just slap on a 391 top end on a 311?

Reason being:
I have a 311 with leaking transfer port covers. [emoji90]

I see the aftermarket 391 cylinders are an entire casting.

You can. The shroud may not have an opening for the decomp valve, but you likely won't need that anyway. Just plug the decomp valve opening with a bolt. I've done it and the owner is still using the saw and loves it.
