I've been into a fair amount of saws and this is a first---

This saw grenanded a piston. I bought it for $25 totally locked up. All OEM parts... decent piston wear so it may have been slapping and hung a ring. Cylinder was trashed as well... definitely not a slow death.

So... anyone got a decent oem 1127 crank around?
My dealer may have one in the junk pile, but who knows.
Amazing that it cracked there... good thing this is just a fun rebuild and not a buddy's saw.

Eta--- God I suck at taking pics.

Never seen that on that series of saws...or anything like what the left lobe looks like.
Just seen a chunk come off on a 064 once...was pretty ugly!!

Yep. I've seen cracked shafts, broken ends, needle bearings shot, etc. This was a new one, though.
