Maybe you missed “according to Stihl”.
I called to check for the potential buyer. Never got the particular saw sn from buyer.

“A STIHL DEALER GAVE ME THE INFORMATION” I just passed it on.

CHECK WITH STIHL TO SEE IF ANY PART FITS WHAT YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE THEM ON.

If that is abrasive, I am proud to be abrasive and have been for my 77 years.

I never saw one post saying what is for sale here “was the wrong” solenoid for the saw you were planning to use it on.

I mentioned that my 261cm was a version 1.
I did not want to ruin your chances of selling your parts so I did not post anything. I checked with my sources, and left it at that.
No harm no foul I thought. That's all. ‍
In fact I let this go. You were the first to post in your own thread for a while. Maybe just a heads up that the parts were for sale would have been enough? But I felt that you targeted me unfairly. Just me.

PS Having a MS in computer science, I realized I was shouting to point out that no one posted the sn of a saw to verify if it was or was not correct for that saw, and still have not....I wonder why?

At this point, I would not take these parts if you gave them to me. I do not care what degree you have. You can use the degree the next time you have a bowel movement and wipe accordingly.
No need to post the Serial Number of my saw.
