Cannon make a 12 and 14 inch NK bar. I would first make sure your chain runs on a cheap NK bar before opting for the cannon. My German supplier charges me about €100 for a 14inch narrow kerf. And it's only in 3/8 here. But Cannons web site shows much more options on it's bar selector. Cannon is open, so you could buy direct from them...

A friend down the road converted his ported 241 to .325", but I'm a ibt vague as to the bar gauge and length. Either way, it pulls like a scalded cat. I will try to find out, as IIRC, it had a either a Stihl, or a Sugi barn on it. He has a collection of Stihls with a mix of bars so I'm trying to remember which combo it is).

Just got off of the phone with him. He converted from a 14" 3/8lp bar to a 16" x .050 x .325", Stihl bar. I've only run it twice, but once was cleaning up a lot of downed Piss Elms, and Cedars around my house, and once cutting Hedge. In the Elm, I buried the bar and *if* you let the saw eat, w/o forcing it, it wasn't far behind my 346xp, also running .325. Brad Snelling ported the 241, and it was the first one He ever did. It almost feels like a white and orange 346...

Brad's 241s are no joke.

No idea. I haven't heard anything in a while. I've got a 660 He did (from the same buddy) that runs very well, whether it's a 24" 3/8" w/an 8pin, a 36" 3/8" either way, or a 32" .404 with a 7 pin.
