I recently picked up a near mint MS 660. I don't think it is even broken it yet. When I took it apart to clean it (it was already pretty clean), I noticed a missing fin on the poly flywheel. Should I worry about balance with only one fin missing or just run it?IMG_20180301_214648441.jpg

It will be out of balance at 13/14k

I'd say go and hunt another. Unless you cut the other side off to balance it back up

I wouldn't worry about it. The fins on a polymer flywheel don't weigh enough to throw anything out of balance if one is missing.

I never thought about taking a fin off the other side, I'll check it out.

I'd like to send it out for port work some day so I'll keep my eye out for a used one also.
