Have you tried with your pistons giving the intake side transfers a lead in timing before the exhaust side?

Prior to JB welding the uppers, didn't you compensate for the escaping charge by giving the carb more flow?
Also, I noticed the exposed steel decomp valve appears to have it's own wash pattern. Is it retaining enough heat to interfere?
I know it wasn't a concept of "compensating", I'm just wondering if that's what ended up happening.I was looking for more gains, not what I would call compensating.
yes and the same chain, only used 1

So after all that focus on wash what did we all miss? Do you think adding the JB weld to reshape the transfer added enough restriction to choke the port causing the loss of power?no ,I changed the tr port again, what's more important, speed or piston wash pattern?
I did get gains from the carb changes
Pretty sure he patented that already joe.Just put a 10mm spark plug in the decomp hole, and splice them together.

Sounds like the Saw is running great. That’s some damn good chain to go through all that testing and remain consistent.
At least you can be happy about sending it nowyes I think it lost volume, went back in and took about half of what I had left in out.
before epoxt the best cut time was 8.57.
after epoxy was 9.53
after reshaping 7.99

Is the 461 a saw that has a tight case to begin with? Seems like w the long route the transfers take it would ha e a lot of volume. Not much time for transfer at 16k+ rpm tho i guess haha.
