I might just do thatSend all you want to me I can fix them for you no problem.
Could i ask you a question ....the grey wire that runs to the coil over the front av mount. It disappears through a grommet on the top of the oil tank or does it rout to the coil another way ? Had a ms 200 with the back handle in that wouldn't turn off...traced it to that grey wire but did a spliced in repair without stripping all the grey out .
Ask Def Dave about me.I might just do that
The delete will give you more compression. You must measure the squish first so it is not too tight.LW what's your take on a base gasket delete for these, worth it? Or any mods for that matter?
Oh we've already had a discussion about you SteveAsk Def Dave about me.

Not a big gain slightly noticeable. Its not on my list of to do things. Test it out if you like time some cuts stock then using the same log time it with the delete. I cant imagine much difference but very slight improvement.Definitely will check squish if I go that route. I was more curious if you think the gasket delete is worth the effort?
I can pop a stock seal out in 12 seconds. Most people have a lot of trouble with them cause they are so small. I can teach you how if you need . I find aftermarket seals way harder to work on.Are the seals that really a PITA or.......?
I've pulled many seals. The most difficult for me so far has been the FW seal on the 026/024.I can pop a stock seal out in 12 seconds. Most people have a lot of trouble with them cause they are so small. I can teach you how if you need . I find aftermarket seals way harder to work on.
If you have a few of these saws Id be happy to work out a deal helping.I've pulled many seals. The most difficult for me so far has been the FW seal on the 026/024.
I have yet to attempt this 200.
I'm all ears if you got a trick up your sleeve
Jeremy
Edit: they weren't really difficult, just required me to adapt a few different tools and hold my tongue just right
