Moto seal

Stopped by NAPA on way home for some moto seal 1. They had none in stock and the kid at the register said it appeared it has been superseded since there were only two stores that had any stock.
Noting that this kid might have been 19 i still gotta ask if anyone heard of this? If its true what is the new product?

If you're talking about #29132 then yes things have been off the rails here. One guy says it's been discontinued, his co-worker couldn't confirm. Either way it was no longer on the shelf in stock so I had to have them order me a couple tubes from their supplier. This was just about two weeks ago.

I use Motoseal here at home on saws and use Hondabond @ work on motorcycles. I honestly can't tell a difference between the 2.

I've never bought a tube of Hondabond so I couldn't advise. You can buy it at any Honda motorcycle dealership.

Have to be careful with 518, it is not supposed to be used on plastic

I use the same at times (and yamabond) but I believe the permatex version is cheaper. Can you verify that it is less in price. The loctite 518 is hard to find locally here.
