Have you ever drilled holes and then used round and flat files by hand to finish it? A 1/2" drill bit is perfect for the stihl mount and it leaves the end of the bar stud groove with a perfect half circle that looks near factory when done.

Got bored today. Took a 24" Stihl ES big nose bar that I don't use much and hacked it up to fit a couple of these with a 72DL chain. Picked up the 12 and 10 from @dall. Thanks Dallas

I sized up the 12 pin with the chain on and marked the bar for length, studs, oiler, and adjuster holes. I drilled the ends of the slot and cut it out with a cutoff wheel in my angle grinder. @exSW, that's your bar tip. Thanks

Well, I didn't think it would outperform what I had in TN, but they were a package deal that Dallas had no use for. I took videos and I think the 12 wins

It was actually pretty sharp for off the roll. Corners were all good on it. I didn't have to push at all

10 pin looked like it pulled the best at the higher rpms. 12 pin faster. Cool videos man.

I need to invest in some. When we're talking going from a 7 tooth up to a 12, at 13k rpm's that thing is moving
