I would like to replace my 5 gal plastic cans with some quality metal cans. In terms of what's available from new manufacturing who makes a good gas can that seals well? I'm not concerned with having a pour spout--just a solid and leak-proof 5 gal storage can.

Dang…$120 for a new can? I think I paid $35 for the pair I have…not each, for the pair.
The Scepter cans look good, never tried those. Nozzle is about the same cost as the nato.

Yeah costs are nuts and only getting nuttier. 4 years ago I bought a 661 with full wrap and 36" bar for about $1450 and now the same setup at the same dealer is ~$1950

Eagle/Justrite is the last standing US manufacturer of metal cans I think. I tried the Euro Jerry a while back. It sealed so tight it was an issue with temperature swings or being in direct sunlight for very long.

It's just unfortunate that Eagle/Justrite cans are roughly 33% thinner and the round form factor takes up more space on the shelf/in the shed than necessary.

I don't care for them and seek out old plastic jugs on fleabay. The one style requires a snap on pour spout, the other has a built in spout that makes the can take up space of 1-1/2 cans.
