I would like to replace my 5 gal plastic cans with some quality metal cans. In terms of what's available from new manufacturing who makes a good gas can that seals well? I'm not concerned with having a pour spout--just a solid and leak-proof 5 gal storage can.

Not steel, but the Scepter military 20 litre fuel cans are ridiculous tough.

I used a couple of Wavians on my Jeep before it got stolen in Denver. They saved my butt a few times on back trails. Never leaked, and the pour spout was good.

Dang…$120 for a new can? I think I paid $35 for the pair I have…not each, for the pair.
The Scepter cans look good, never tried those. Nozzle is about the same cost as the nato.
