So anyone have any luck returning matco tools through the mail? I got a ratchet couple screwdrivers few combination wrenches that are junk.. I called my local dealer.... He would call back..... Anyhow no call back That's fine. So the website asks that you enter the part numbers ...... It recognized two items .. Wtf. How do I get tools replaced anyone just stuck them in a box and sent them to matco ? I've got a return number for one screwdriver and my nice ratchet. Would you just include the others? Tool trucks are real nice but it's getting to the point of what good are they to me ..... I'm not a weekly buyer and when I do need somthing I go snap on because of the availability of a truck weekly at my grandfathers.. Any advice

Probably your best bet is to find a truck and change em there. I have never returned tools by mail. I'd be afraid they would get lost.

Uh Oh, that stinks, you really don't a choice but to mail them in then. How far is the nearest truck from you that wouldn't come. pretty crappy if he's close.

I told him I'd meet him in town .... Gave him my part numbers so he was "ready" and had them on truck ... This type of *s-word does piss me off the ratchet lasted a year.. The little ball fell off so it won't hold a socket the other stuff I've had and have been very nice but what good is a warranty at this point Not that it's a huge deal but that ratchet was very expensive all I need is a kit ... The screwdrivers I could care less... The wrenches well it's nice to have complete sets . I just feel like some of those trucks aren't very friendly to you unless you spend grands upon grands. Some stuff needs to be truck quality the rest I think I'm done with

I'd be done with matco after that, Some of those guys like you said only want the big sales and don't want to exchange anything. I see the snap on guy here all the time. I don't know how he is but he drives a huge diesel truck with chrome stacks and a huge box. I figured he's in debt pretty good.

That sucks. My Matco guy is pretty good and it's been the same guy for years. Unlike Snap-on. Got anybody that you do business with that sees the Matco truck regularly? Give him the stuff to turn in.

I prefer matco over most snap on. I work at a shop now with the only good snap on dealer I've ever met. Great guy. Most tool truck greatness comes from the dealer/driver.

Matco just moved in here about a year ago. Least to say I'm not impressed by the tools...at all. I'm lucky, we have an excellent Matco dealer who is at the shop at the same time on the same day every week and he grew up across the street from me. But the tools are not the quality I would expect from a company priced higher than Snap-on or Mac. We also have an excellent Snap-on rep, so all my money goes there. If the tools were better then I'd mix em up.
