You came down quite a bit then if it was anything like mine, stock .055 squish..035" from the squish, and whatever it needed to end up at .024" clearance.
I enjoy most cutting with Big Saws in Big Wood: I have little experience at it though. The saw in that video makes me feel warm and tingly inside. Is that wrong?
I'd like to fall and buck one 6-10' 200' tall something on the left coast. They say it's no fun after about 4' and just a ton of work though.I enjoy most cutting with Big Saws in Big Wood: I have little experience at it though.
Yeah, I think the fun factor would run out pretty darn quick.I'd like to fall and buck one 6-10' 200' tall something on the left coast. They say it's no fun after about 4' and just a ton of work though.

Maybe not. I do like running big saws even if it is work. A 395 with a 42-50" would do it.
Very true. It is fun for awhile, arms and back may pay for it tomorrow. The guys that used to do it with axes and crosscuts have my total respect.
1201 and a 48"?
Me too. It would look good on one.I know a fellow that has a 50" cannon.
I think one of those in a big mount would accentuate that 1201.

Hey,
What's the dl on 404" for a 50"?
