Now to set the port heights.

I push a ring in in the bore to the height I'm looking for. In this case, I'm at 118*.



Then I measure from the squish band down to the bottom of that ring.



And then cut a piece of card stock that width.



Put that card stock in the bore......



....and see where it stops the piston.

After a little beveling and leveling. Hey......that's catchy.......maybe I'll write a song. Or not. o_O



Then I hand sand the port edges with 220 grit.



And I use this little bugger with some 320 to get the bottom edges of the port bevels.......just to be sure. They are hard as hell to see.



Finally, I run ScotchBrite thru it.....
