This is an old machine that I restored about ten years ago. I got it back a few months ago.......and killed the engine.

I'll be rebuilding the engine over the winter.......I reckon that could make a pretty cool thread.

Watery stuff from the blown head gasket that killed it.

It was my fault.......I should have never fired it up that last time.

That's why the engine ain't out yet.

I feel for you Randy. At least mine still moves. Well just in reverse. I lost my forward clutches in the reverser. Aint looking forward to this job.

I think the rest of the parts are all good. Of course, when I get a new (to me) block, I'll be having it vat dipped, new cam bearings, etc.....

Your machine looks good and tight. Got lucky on our cat 955 that overheated only cracked the head. Are you thinking overheated?

I'm not sure what caused it.........but it died quick. lol

Gotta be a good ol' boy you know down there with a big enough dozer or 2 to drag it out? Or a rubber tired loader. Loaders pull pretty well

I do know a guy........but I can deal with it where it sits I think.
