yes I've found that too, but after its warm as you say its fine

Seems to me it’s starving for fuel til it warms up, but I’m unsure why at the moment

I was thinking that, but not being able too get the tuning tool is a pain in the neck
But it could be the reed valves are pulling in cold air longer keeping there side of the mix under tempature until the cases are warmed up

I have a 3601 and would really live to see the potential these could have . Or are they already at there max? @ajschainsaws can the bar studs be replaced? I would like to convert my tooless clutch cover to the UK version.

That would be nice to know. I am going mine wound come out of it as it breaks in.

I still think it’s got something to do with the reeds staying colder until the cases get up too tempature

I opened up the muffler and tuned the low side fat. By like half turn past where response felt good. Even that far past did not effect response.

Yeah it has very fine threads on those needles. Tough to tell a difference while adjusting.
How’s the muffler inside? Cat?

No cat fairly open. Just opening up the exhaust port. Seems to help.
