I don't care how hot it is going to be, I'll be there. I just hope it isn't too hot for the video recording equipment. My phone camera never works when it is over 95.

Here's the last couple competitors of the hotsaw. My wife's phone camera lost a bunch of pictures and videos of various competitors and kids axe throwing. We're going to a Verizon store tomorrow to see about retrieving them. It's very disappointing they're there one second and gone the next.

Both my entries were disqualified. I was practiced up for a different cut than what they decided to do in the competition. I said it a little differently at first but that wasn't fair when it was my own fault for lack of preparation when it all came down to it, so I came back to edit it up and show some respect and basically an apology for whom I may have offended. Chit the maiden run with the pipe was my first real competition run. Lol
There were some good ol boys there with some of the craziest running sons a *b-wordes I ever saw. Most were 372's, no pipes and right off the mountain. They keep em all to themselves and don't ever share any vids on YouTube.
My wife had a very very good time meeting everyone and seeing the antiques.

Damn Jim, that's a bummer for sure. Hopefully you made some friends at least...

Oh I most definitely did. I have nothing negative to say about the event in any way. Kevin and others really worked their ayassholes off to make sure this event was very entertaining. it's simple miscommunication and i was mostly expressing my embarrassment.

I may not be using the proper term but you bore through a few inches from the top and cut down through the bottom and then around back up to nip the top. I nipped the top on the way back up without coming completely out of the cut.

Interesting. So it's just one cut?

I forgot to mention that the first saw of the two competitors in the video was the winner of the hotsaw class and was built by Dennis Cahoon.
