And here's another one.
Bought three saws from a guy in BC Canada. Got two but
the third one never made it. A Sachs Dolmar 153 that i paid
for. Tracking # said expected delivery march 19 now the
tracking # is no good and expired. It made it to San Fransisco
but that's where it stopped. Funny how it made it to this country
then gets lost.
When shipping over the boarder it seems the postal service
is the best and least expensive but i guess it's a gamble weather
you get it or not.

One airport to avoid like the plague when returning from international is Atlanta. Logistics isn't their strong suit.
It is the busiest hub on the planet, and a helluva headache... I live an hour and a half south of Atl. Trust me, I know. You'd think by now after all these yrs, they'd a figured out how to move people along.

It not only saws, but saw parts. Had some interesting experiences myself.

Had a saw returned to me by Australia post, as on new international shipping form it lists the SENDER name ontop. Managed to get that away again.

2ndly have some 084 parts going to an USA AS member, wallowed in US postal service for abit and is being returned to me (expected sometime this week). Will have to pay international shipping a 2nd time to get the parts to this guy (who is being really great to deal with).

All I can say fellas, knock on wood for sending and receiving what you've gotten so far. It's a F'ng crap shoot nowadays with this chit. I'm glad I'm not a seller nor saw builder and have to ship. God knows the dicking you're in for.

My post office is in a town of 100 people, it's barely open anymore and only has a truck run now and then.
If I drop off stuff on the wrong day it can sit there for days.
My tracking number is a little sticker that has no name on it just a number so there useless
I've had 4 saws damaged in the last month,my beautiful 066 arrived from Alaska completely crushed.
Brake flag, handle bar and the original minty fuel tank all destroyed.
I can send 2 boxes the same time to the same person and one arrive days later.
Usps can kiss my ass

That's my home airport.

Internationally, I've flown out of and in to ATL about 8 times, and I've never had any issue.

If you want to talk about an airport that sucks to fly into or out of,

1. Heathrow
2. de Gaulle
3. Amsterdam Schiphol

Every airport I've flown into and out of in both Germany & Russia were a breeze.

Charles de Gaulle is the worst I've been through. Transferring terminals required going back through security and taking a nice long bus trip.

Exactly.

Try that when you've got a connecting flight in 45 mins.

I did my best to avoid that one like the plague after that incident.

Summer of 1987 spent 8 long hours on the tarmac of C De G. A rangy group of teenagers stuck on a 747 while they worked on a small mechanical issue. Was just supposed to be a land, drop people off and off to Frankfurt stop but there was some issue that I can't remember. They airline decided they were better equipped to fix it in France than Germany so they decided that was when they would do it. Wouldn't let us off the plane, cleaned the cabin around us but did feed us once or twice. Never saw the inside of the place and will be okay if I never do.
