looking for porting dude in Washington state, Okanagan county

Okanogan should be eastern wash ,i do not know any builders east of the mountains here ,he will have to box it up regardless if wants it ported

I wasn't sure if there were any members close to him, he is looking for a little advice on buying parts, my understanding is that it is probably a scored cylinder and he thinks he needs to replace it but has read just enough that he is looking to find an original red light cylinder by part number. Looking for somebody who can be a little more hands on than my internet rambling with him.
Seems like a good guy not afraid to spend money, I would rather see him get his current setup going and made badass than have him buy a new oem cylinder from me and attempt to install it.
If anybody has a localler guy gimme a shout.

I have always had good dealings with Rich Dougan at the Myrtle Creek Saw Shop, he ported an XPW cylinder for a buddy of mine and that thing is sinister. Not sure how close Douglas County, Oregon is to him though.

Okanogan is a long way from Douglas County. For about ten years, I lived three miles from Rich's shop and would visit with him almost every day. I bought a couple of his ported saws and had pretty good luck with them.

I think Brian came up with a good solution- have a knowledgeable member help this guy get his saw to a reputable builder.

I dunno if he does machining and all that. I seem to remember he was doing some basic port and muffler work.

Machining no. Or at least he didn't as I've machined a few for him.
But he would be a trusted member to get it where it needs to be!
