Anyone ever use loctite 5920 on a 350 cylinder riser? I have a tube of dirko coming but wondering if it is any better than this stuff? Any ideas?

I have no experience with that exact product but thought that copper based sealants were more for exhaust systems; however, that does show a gearbox on the tube…

I have no experience with this specific product, but have found that most automotive RTV sealants will not hold up long term when exposed to fuel (gasoline).
They work for awhile, but then fail and cause a leak. Dirko is the Stihl OEM sealer and does hold up. I guess you will have to try this and see how it goes.
If it hasn't been mentioned already, make sure the flanges on your riser are flat- they usually are not. Polish them down with a piece of wet/dry sandpaper on a piece of glass. This will greatly improve your chances of success in sealing it up.
