I have thought about trying to blue a bar.U like that paint off the bar thread huh??!! Lol!! Cannon has had that paint dont belong on a bar figured out for awhile now
Its pretty easy with the Birchwood Casey wipe on cold blue. Degrease and rough it up good with sandpaper. Keep wiping on coats untils its as dark as u like then wipe with rag and cold water and then spray a rust prevenative on itI have thought about trying to blue a bar.
I wouldnt expect to see that unicorn any sooner than the 572xp.I wish they would hurry up already with the Cannon LW

I have a 28 es light on my 461. Very pleased with itHave a Stihl 25 lw on the way. Wanting to put it on my 044. Have several total light and tough bars no complaints at all

28 ES light is way light. It's perfect on a 70cc saw. They seem to hold up well tooMy 28es light is one of the best feeling rigs I have ever usedView attachment 35140
Paint is still on mine too. [emoji6]My 28es light is one of the best feeling rigs I have ever usedView attachment 35140
It would balance better and run cooler without that mess on it!!Paint is still on mine too. [emoji6]
Will the aluminum blue though? It would balance better and run cooler without that mess on it!!
That I dont know. The plastic inserts wontWill the aluminum blue though?
Are the oregons cheaper than the Stihl lights?
I bought a Sugi Light bar in 24" Stihl mount but I think its 25" actual length. I like the elongated stud slot of the Sugi's compared to Tsumuras and others. Good for when you use an adapter and run them on a Husky mount saw.Is there a 24" light bar from Total/Tsumara, Sugihara, etc.? For a Stihl 044 mount...
Or are they all considered "light" bars?
I just noticed Stihl does have a 25" light bar.
