personal opinion but...

i think sugi and tsumura are so close in quality you would be hard pressed to say one is better than the other. sugi tips are slightly better but the only time i really see premature failure of the tsumura tips is from guys running aggressive chains or have aggressive cutting style.

the feel of the oregon reduced weight bars is offputting to me, they feel like a wet noodle compared to other manufacturers and rails surely arent even in the same league as Total/Tsumura or sugi

I've got .325 18" & 3/8-20" in small mount, 20",24"28" large mount Sugi and 28" Total. Bought them all from Steve. Both Total and Sugi are awesome bars!

Total & Sugi RW light bars are top shelf quality wise no doubt about that. The only issue I have with them is that they are not really light at all. I think Stihl does the best job of producing a true light bar while maintaining good strength. They really take the heaviness out of the bar.

I like the Oregon myself. Lighter and once you're used to them it's not bad for flex. Just don't use them to pop out the face on a big oak. Stihl light bars are just as light and will take a little more abuse. The Japanese bars are great bars but not as light.

Is there a 24" light bar from Total/Tsumara, Sugihara, etc.? For a Stihl 044 mount...

Or are they all considered "light" bars?

I just noticed Stihl does have a 25" light bar.

I like Cannon and Tsumura in that order. since my biggest bar is a 32'' weight isn't a concern.
