great engine i had one but the oil injection didn't work and i just used mixed gas in it. they shine in thick grass parts can be a little pricey.Hey guys, got a question. Besides chainsaws, I'm also a fan of Lawnboy's.
A guy has one local to me that's a model "M". Says it has oil injection, no mixing 2 stroke. Is this a Suzuki engine? I know Toro used a 2 stroke Suzuki on their own models. (I passed on one years ago and kick myself when reminded of it) He wants $50 for it, which is reasonable to me.
Anybody know about this model?

Picked up this Model M just now. Electric start too, but I need to find a battery for it. And a key.
As my dad used to say "Like a Singer sewing machine".does it run?
crank seals is the biggest problems ignition coils can get a little flakey after a few years of use.I just picked up a lawn boy 10247 silver series. Anything to look out for on them?
It's got 126psi comp.
Thanks!
Any special tools to install crank seals?crank seals is the biggest problems ignition coils can get a little flakey after a few years of use.
use 32:1 in it.
just grind a notch in a flathead screw driver to remove the old sealAny special tools to install crank seals?
32:1 even quality synthetic oil?
Thanks , it seems fine for now besides a carb clean and tune up. I plan to go through it next winter.just grind a notch in a flathead screw driver to remove the old seal
use 32:1 either mineral or synthetic lawn boy specs ashless oil or tcw3 i don't recommend using a air cooled oil in it as it causes deposit build up.
Do you know what rpm these silver series should be running at ?just grind a notch in a flathead screw driver to remove the old seal
