Good point. I was subconsciously thinking it needed to be straight but that would work. I think I can actually get the OEM straight line too.

I’ve used it for impulse line on 372’s, I’ve found that the coils aren’t so tight that they try to kink when used in a straight application.

i used work for a tree service that had one of those and it never ran right from the get go.....the silly thing is that i have 335 case and a 338xpt slug and jug to put on it but havent ever done anythjng except tak it appart and put it in a box.

the needle and seat had a very slow leak with both needles. I tried polishing the seat with pencil lead but it didn’t help.
I've had limited success using a small drill bit and 0000 steel wool on brass seats. Never tried it on a silver (steel?) seat.
