I have several 625 and 670 never seen one with the impulse in manifold al are on PTO side with a nipple.Impulse built into the manifold.
Good info. Did not know that.Earliest 670's did not have the external impulse lines. As Willard, points out the one in the pic is pulsed through the boot.
There is a service bulletin announcing the change to the external set up that I went and dug out to see when that took place, but of course there's no date or serial number break on it.

Ta - Jonsereds saws are not exactly common over here so I'm often left guessing about saw ID where vendors don't know anything about what they are selling.Nope ....50
Wish I had a better picture of it.Ta - Jonsereds saws are not exactly common over here so I'm often left guessing about saw ID where vendors don't know anything about what they are selling.
Does this view help? [Had ruled out a 52 as the recoil housing lacked the bulbous bit at the top and the plug wire exiting from the top of the housing that I am slightly more familiar with. Aslo thought it looked a bit bulkier than a 52 but then again, Jonsereds are not common over here]

Yes they all came with chain brakes, mine is missing too.Oh dear (or words to that effect). That CAD thing might be kicking in again..... I think the one I attached the picture of may have had a chain brake/have the remains of a chain brake - you can just spot a rusty bracket on the inside of the handle, just above the clutch cover.
