Lean doesn't get it .I saw Cliff H set a worlds record running a saw that I thought was going to die out on idle .Cliff has forgotten more than I've ever known BTW .
At GTG's I've seen them crank in on the high speed until they reved like a model airplane engine but in the cut fall flat .I tried to tell them but they wanted to argue .Fuel = power simple as that .
I don't build race saws just restored older work saws .
Those cool mornings about mid November with oxygen rich cool air they really get with it but in the afternoon in some cases with 65-70 degrees they might need just a little bit less fuel as the air warms up .Not much just a tweak .You can tell by the sound of them if you pay attention .
