STIHL Iso 044 fuel tank assembly

Looking for a fuel tank assembly for my 044 Had a log fall on it early this week. Facebook group guys said to check here

I know it has a flippy cap but your best bet is to get a 440 tank.

For what ever reason the dealer said that would not work for mine due to age

Big_Wayne123 have u found one yet? Were u at? I have one if ur close by. I would like swap out for a 064 real handle tank assembly. Of course I would add a little sweeting the deal up. Or buy for $100. Just a heads up. Don’t really have time to mess with post office at current moment.

Part# 11283500800 I’m almost certain. But for some reason google claims 0801 . Maybe the 081 is later model 044/440 .

That is the oldest tank part number from stihl, nla, newest 044 tank part number (which is not orderable, NLA) is 1128 350 0844, which stihl subs forward again to 1128 350 0851 which is the current number for the flippy cap version for the ms440, just verified thru Stihl EBiz...the 0851 is in stock, at least at northeast stihl...LOL

It is the saw… but theres pictures of when it was good there too. To show what im looking for. No luck yet
