I haven't heard about his passing. I haven't been following racing the last few years.

Ha ha yep I thought the same , on race week everyone is happy because you gotta be home from work before 5pm as the roads are closed at 6pm for racing
And shut the pets in

I love that whole piece. Watched it four or five times. Betcha it's really cool on a big screen. It's been twenty years since I've done nearly those speeds but that's the view.

Yeah I keep watching it too it's fantastic I put the cable from the laptop to the TV
It makes you wanna go out and drive like hell
I haven't ever gone that fast, but 10 yrs ago in Germany on the autobahn was clocking up 120-140 a few times

Yes Joey was awesome too watch he did fantastic on the 125's his relation Robert Dunlop is riding now I think last year he clocked up the highest ever average speed 133.68mph

I haven't ever gone that fast, but 10 yrs ago in Germany on the autobahn was clocking up 120-140 a few times

I was a 'stang banger back in the day. Had a 5.0 5 speed Mustang with the airplane gears(2.73) in the rear end. Good for 150 and a little change on paper. I know 5000 rpm in fourth was moving. One day I looked at the car seat and drove it in the barn,disconnected the battery and threw a tarp over it.

Wow That was moving I had a escort rallying and sprints It had a 4.4 in the rear and a four speed box and I had it on the limiter in fourth many a time but that was way off your speed

That sounds like fun. I loved watching the old WRC coverage on Speedvision.

I'm not a fan of IOM. Find it hard to watch random footage of guys flying around streets, no real 2,3,4 way battle for the checkered flag. More like racing the clock. I do follow MotoGP religiously. Nickys passing is tragic for sure.

If I'd had my go pro running on our last group ride, I'd have a nice shot of my buddy on his Aprilia about 3-4" airborne. It was awesome! When I get home, I'll share some cool us129 pics.
