Is my cylinder trashed? Detonation marks

Thanks so much for all the guidance everyone. Sounds like I’ll be exploring some new territory and splitting the case to search for the issue. I’ll probably check back in here in a week or so.

I’m no machinist, is it a pretty safe bet to just buy a case splitting tool rather than trying to fabricate my own puller?

If you value your time, I would just buy a splitter.

I would ask Kevin to look at it and give yo an idea on a price or whatever as he don’t sound that far from you..
Just sometimes it pays to let someone else do it who has all the tools and has done it many times. I don’t know your skills either. ymmv
