Wow, almost a pound less than the 572 and 6.8 Hp, I think Husky may be in trouble if Stihl gets this to market soon. Will also reduce 661 sales.
So, a 70+ cc saw and an 80 cc saw, NICE ... and makes sense!
So, it seems that the 462 will have a 362 style filter, which will require tools to remove, but will stay clean longer.
The MS 500 seems to have the 440/460/461 style HD-2 Filter with easy screw off stuff, and I like the separate wing nut instead of the filter cover holding the filter. Seen too many complaints of fines getting into 661s.
I personally prefer the quick to remove, easy to clean filter set up.
I hope both these saws hit the US market soon, I think they will both be big hits.
Would like to know the bar length rating for the MS 500.
