The early 7900 was closer to that, and even then that number was without the clutch cover. This is a 7900 I have in storage I took out for a weight check.Yes! Something to finally beat the 6.3hp and 13.6lb pho weight of the original 7900 that came out almost 20 years ago. Only thing is I know the 500i will probably be a pricey piece...
Thats a puter saw, correct? That's because you didn't post an after video of the 572... just left us all hanging.
Gonna block off the road?
I bet she is..screen door in a hurricane cums to mind..
22 pages of bickering? Y'all must be bored.
I'm gonna be down in your home state next week.No new 90cc Dolmar will do that to a group of Chainsaw nuts.

I love my 661 but I dont use it like some do everyday. I'd take it over a 660 anyday. A stock 660 is probably the most disappointing saw I've ever ran.
I agreeYou know I agree with you 100% but I have to say the 660 probably lasts forever, just cause they are to gutless to blow themselves up.
I’m sure after I stuck my spinny thingy in the muffler and the insides magically fell out the weight became closer to spec on mineThe early 7900 was closer to that, and even then that number was without the clutch cover. This is a 7900 I have in storage I took out for a weight check.
My 550 was a complete mess from the factory, bad transfer seals and covers, the strato intake boot saw folded over, and the carb had hesitation problems. And right now I'm not sure on the about the coil, acts like it has too much advance. I'll be getting a 572, mostly just because, well that and the one I ran at Randy's was pretty slick. In my little brain I just can't help but think are these saws being fully assembled in Sweden or only certain parts so they can say they're made in Sweden? Are the employees silently protesting like a lot of UAW workers in the 70s, turn the corner and hear a beer can rattle in the door type of stuff? I surely hope husqvarna's going to figure this out, because right now I can't see them existing in the professional market as is, and not being able to simply download a firmware update from your computer or phone is a complete joke in late 2018.![]()
Agreed. However out of the 6 Dolmar 7900's I've had, including a red top saw, not one of them were 13lb 6oz. The 7900 is still the nicest running 70 to 80cc saw I've had my hands on. The 462 is gaining traction though.[emoji111]I’m sure after I stuck my spinny thingy in the muffler and the insides magically fell out the weight became closer to spec on mine. The weight argument gets old pretty fast though with saws for me at least. Too many variables and pointless bickering.
Balance is important...don't want them falling off the shelfI think balance is more important then just shear weight alone.
I couldn't agree more.[emoji56]I think balance is more important then just shear weight alone.
