I don’t mess with hogs. I grew up with em though. I’m honestly afraid of em. And horses. Cows/bulls. They don’t bother me. Hogs. Man we had some mean ones back in the day. My cousin raises them. We killed 7 one day a few winters ago. Set up the band saw and worked ourselves to death getting everything all done up. We even made up some pretty decent scrapple. You eat it ape?

Befriend some Filipinos and watch them process a pig. Good *s-word right there.

I think I’ve ate all of that hog now. But my gramps would’ve had a fit. We had to scald them and pull out the hair when he was around. We cured our own ham back then. They were pretty delicious

Thats the way the Filipinos did it. They knock that sucker in the head to stune it then stab a straw in the juggler to collect all the blood they could. They use cooked rice to clean out the intestines then the women would start working their magic in the kitchen. Good times.
