Heya, Lee. Sparta, Tennessee. Halfway between Knoxville and Nashville on 40 is a town called Cookeville, Sparta is 20 minutes due south of Cookeville.

I can get a tad over 2 acres an hour with a 54" Toro Titan 23 HP .I did about half of it late this afternoon after I put a tube in the rear tire, drank beer for a hour with a tree trimmer bud and talked to my lady friend on the phone.--not bad for an old fart ---

I built a house about 10 years ago in Cookeville. Don't wanna get too far off the road surface around there or you'll be upside down in the ditch

Man, I'm sorry for the ensuing threadjack...

You're sure right about that, Kevin. The road we're on a guy could easily get hurt dead at the bottom just hooking a tire off the shoulder.

Not yet, Lee. Thanks man it's hard to leave there every time, that's for sure. It belongs to friends of our who bought it in '14 and plan to move there in another 5 years or so. Until then, they're hoping we will go live in it and on it so they won't have to worry about vandals or taking care of it etc... There's close to 30 acres there, mix of woods and pasture. It's pretty nice, real nice compared to what we have here.

We'd sure like to get there eventually, all depends on the work situation here. Without a job, we'll need to sell our place and move in the next couple months. If I find work, we'll stay a little longer then move there more on our terms. All has to do with being able to pay this mortgage, you know? Throw in that I need to go in for more surgery on the same knee again and man it makes things real sticky.

Cut my grass for the first time in VA, was a tad tall. Had to go over it 3 times to make it look decent.

Did it with the JD mower you see I the picture. It might help if I put the new blades on it that I have. Tractor just turned 90 hours while I was using it.

No bagger, this is just a piece of property in the country. After going over it 3 times it is pretty much chopped up.
