@afleetcommand has and found they are stronger.Has anyone tried the Hyway handlebars and if you have, are they stronger than the Farmertec ones?
I saw that video where he said he was going to change the handlebar to one from Hyway but I wasn't sure if he had actually tried one out before.@afleetcommand has and found they are stronger.
Hope he sees this and can let us know how the ones he changed over turned out.@afleetcommand has and found they are stronger.
I have 6 out and can confirm his finding. They Hyway ones are a much better quality.@afleetcommand has and found they are stronger.
Thanks, I ordered two and was hoping I didn't waste my money.I have on 6 and can confirm his finding. They Hyway ones are a much better quality.
They must use very soft aluminum, I had one of their handles on a 288 and I could see it flexing as I pulled back on it to get lower on the log to get the spikes dug in.I have 4 Hiway handles on ported 044’s and no failures yet. But an 066 for a tree guy/logger would be a better test where they’re blocking heavy pieces. A farmertec handle won’t have a scratch in the black paint before a logger folds it back from yanking out of a pinch
I bet it’s somewhere between tin foil and pop can aluminum. Not a lot of “alloy” being used thereThey must use very soft aluminum, I had one of their handles on a 288 and I could see it flexing as I pulled back on it to get lower on the log to get the spikes dug in.
