I doubt it will oil without the brass piece in there. It wedges the outlet end of the hose against the case. Without it, most of the oil will run back down inside the pump/clutch area
Agreed. I've used just regular fuel line and the brass nipple, but never just the line.
I have an extra spring i can send with the spacer. I can't find any extra brass pieces in my stash, tho.

No worries guys.... could use that spacer. ...I'll get the oil line from the dealer. Not in a pinch. ...this saw was the giveaway saw from my youtube channel. Just trying to get it close before I ship it out

Few odd things admittedly--
Carb removal may need throttle linkage entirely removed
Oil line
Pto bearing install (needs more heat for me vs. other models... no idea why)
Questionable impulse system
Tiny flywheel side seal

Other than that--- damn good saws

Ah, ok, carb install needs removal of that stupid throttle linkage cover... hated that. once I got good at it...might be fine.

oil line from oiler to bar COULD be awesome...because its a nifty separate line... but the kit was imcomplete so I got frustrated

pto bearing ... would love to do this cold and see what happens :) ... the bearing in there was already installed...albeit not quite far enough towards the clutch side... so I needed a punch to move it a tad.

impulse system is identically bad like the 200t. some dumb reason there is no barb at the tank end.... ugh.... a SLIGHT bulge would help!

and yes, tiny flywheel seal, but not as small as 044....

Matt, 034s had a muffler spacer, about an 1/8" thick with gaskets on each side. Also, IMO, the oiler kit is a must. One of my least favorite things on these models.
