LOL! this is the best test. yep, just run them over. which ever one runs after is the best. in this pic the truck is parked on a 40% incline. doesn't look like it but it's your eyes playing tricks on you. that stihl is holding it's own!
i work where both brands are beat to hell and they both run just as long it seems other then the odd lemon. what really chaps my ass is some of the die hard stihl guys who know nothing about saws and run husky once only to have a kill switch not work, bolt vibrate lose or something and label husky for the rest of their lives. makes for some interesting arguments in camp lol. pretty easy to make a fool of someone who doesn't know what he's talking about though. maybe it's just me knowing how to keep a husky running or maybe the guys dissing them are just *s-word talkers? i mean sure i have had a kill switch fail or a choke lever but very rarely and other then that they run til their death just like a stihl but handle and look way better doing it
carb removal on any saw should not take anymore then 5 minutes for someone who knows what they are doing. there is only one answer to someone who think stihls are easier to work on. it's quite simple. they haven't worked on a husky lol most of them are easy to work on if a guy knows what he is doing. not saying stihl is crazy hard to work on they are just more difficult. a guy who has only removed a carb or a muffler on a stihl would not know what i'm talking about. i run all saws, just more huskies because i like the way they handle
