I don't believe this is correct. I found this: Sorry for the large type but I don't know how to make it smaller when I copy directly from the Husqvarna associated website.
New lightweight chainsaw bars from Husqvarna and Tsumura/Suehiro Seiko Co Everything I can find says these are Tsumura bars not Sugihara.

Sugi’s are for the US, Tsumura for Europe

You can see @ the Startip if its Sugihara or Tsumura. The Startips are different.

I agree with your statement on the higher prices the May there isn’t much improvement. I do know there was a larger oil hole. And they do engrave the bars now to identify them. But to really justify the price difference I don’t see it

I just saw a new price tag on a canon light bars from Bailey’s I almost passed out. it was 317 Ibelieve?

$340 Canadian for a 36” lightweight Cannon up here so thats around $280 usd. On a side note, Cannon has been offering bar machining to accept the Stihl tips for awhile now also.

I like that much better than Bailey’s price. I have two cannons light weight in 28 ones a 32 and I actually like him a lot.

Yes the Cannons are expensive. You also get what you pay for and with the Cannon bars, of both RW and LW, your getting more than the average LW & RWs. I am looking forward to getting a couple. At least one. Maybe the second will be my own LW modded Oregon. Yes, I know..... I read the hole thread on DIY LWs.
