I found a PDF over on AS. I think the user name was deprime?? Print it out a little big like 6 3/8" outside. This will give you the proper inside dimension when you cut out the final pieces which is the important part. Cut out the paper trace it on some thin steel with a sharpie. Carefully cut it out with a plasma torch. Then clean it up with a die grinder. Use this as a template to cut your actual jaws. They will come out nicer this way. Using 6" flat stock will make it easier to keep everything square. I used 3/16" and it's plenty strong.
the distance between the jaws must be 28mm for the big saws splitters example 372, 395
the distance between the jaws must be 24mm for the small saws splitters example 242, 346 ...
for the other dimensions no matter so much if you are out a little
