I have a 2019 572 on the bench. I was told the saw would start but not stay running.
In fact the saw will not run unless you pour a little fuel down the intake, then it will run until that is burned up.

I noticed the purge bulb will not pull fuel from the tank and upon opening the fuel cap I was just about knocked over by the stench of old rotten ethanol fuel.
I took the carb apart, the metering diaphragm was stiff as a board. I ordered a new carb kit and ran the carb in my ultrasonic for 30 minutes or so. I was then able to spray carb clean through all the passage ways.
I installed the new carb kit, set the metering height and replaced the fuel filter.
The carb acts the same as before. It will not pull fuel using the purge bulb and the saw won't run unless you pour fuel in the intake. (The purge bulbs works with both covers off of the carb.

Any Ideas guys?
Thanks in advance.

Fuel supply issue. Carb rebuilds are easy. I’m sure you did that right, although it’s always important to pressure test it after the rebuild. I suspect you might have a crack, hole or some kinking in one of the fuel hoses. Also, make sure the tank is venting correctly, although I’m leaning toward one of the fuel lines since you can’t even get it to fire up w/out putting fuel in the carb intake.

I’d be more concerned about a vacuum test. Plug the inlet and make sure the purge side holds a vacuum, which will tell you if the check valves are working.

The inlet screen should be thoroughly checked as a fuel blocking light film can be present that looks near invisible until it's removed and held up to a light source. I recommend replacement over cleaning as it gets too distorted to reinstall.

Pull your fuel line out of your tank and plug your vacuum tester straight in
the line. Put 5pd or so of pressure and see if it holds if not some of your fuel lines
have probably gone rotten so may pay to replace with new fuel lines. And I would
pop it on the carbie and make sure that is holding as well.
